Due to global warming it is essential to take actions to stop it.

1. We will increase the number and variety of recycling bins in the our school, so YOU, dear SSE Riga students, will be able to contribute into action to stop the problem of litter.

2. We will save energy in the school by switching to energy-saving light bulbs in ALL the places (this will be done through schools administration). Also important issue is that in most cases you cannot use only the amount of light you only need: i.e. in the cafeteria you can only turn on the light above all the tables. So we want to make this system more flexible, because this is how the waste of energy increases.

3. Solve the problem of printer: the one we have at school can print pages only on one side. In case the students usually is interested in information on paper, not the amount of papers, we should solve this problem. One way to do it is just simply buy one more printer who would be set on option to print on both sides. And if you will need to print on one side (reports etc.), you will be able to use old one. Also the quota of pages if you print on both side, will be reconsidered (everything mentioned must be do through our administration and IT support).

Make SA more open and efficient:
1. Increase students participation and take their advices into account when organizing events;
2. Increase SA accountability to students (publish financial issues etc.);

Improve school’s premises:
1. Find a proper place (i.e. previous SA room) for table football;
2. More “physical activities” – novus, table hockey, pool table, darts;
3. Food vending machine – if you stay in school after 6 o’clock you have no ability to eat.
4. Bloomberg TV on the wall of cafeteria (©Lašas) – ability to seek the business news while eating.

For newcomer’s:
1. Improve 1st week events: more attention to “compadre” program, games for integration (make everything way much better);
2. Find a person who can help to find flats for newcomers (solving problem of dorms);
3. Improve next year’s baptizing (i.e. time managing);
